New Delhi: In a resplendent celebration of India’s ancient wellness tradition, Indiatourism Delhi, under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, organized a Mass Yoga Session on the occasion of the 11th International Day of Yoga at the iconic Qutub Minar Complex—a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The event reflected the global theme for the year, “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”, highlighting the deep connection between human well-being and planetary harmony.

Programme Highlights
Renowned yoga expert Shri Gopal Rishi from Sukrit Wellness led the session with his team, guiding attendees through various Yogic Asanas and Pranayama techniques. He spoke on yoga’s holistic benefits, from physical vitality to emotional and spiritual well-being.
The session began with a welcome address by the Regional Director (North), followed by remarks from MLA Shri Gajendra Singh Yadav. A special highlight of the event was the live telecast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address from Visakhapatnam, further unifying the nationwide celebration.
Cultural and Wellness Integration
To commemorate participation, T-shirts, caps, and yoga mats were distributed. Students from IHM Pusa engaged the audience with reflections on yoga’s role in blending culture, wellness, and tourism.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by the Principal of IHM, recognizing the contributions of dignitaries, volunteers, and participants.
